Qual o tratamento mais estético na Ortodontia?

Resumo

Estética por definição é o estudo que determina o caráter do belo nas produções naturais e artísticas. A natureza já faz a sua parte, mas nós, cirurgiões-dentistas, podemos ajudar a melhorar a estética dos nossos pacientes. A cada geração, a cada década, o conceito de estética se torna cada vez mais intrínseco ao ser humano e aos seus anseios. Atualmente, com o processo de globalização, a procura pelo belo, pela estética e rejuvenescimento vem sendo procurada por todos. Na odontologia não poderia ser diferente, afinal, a agradabilidade da face se percebe pelo sorriso. E a ortodontia é uma das áreas responsáveis por tornar o sorriso mais agradável e harmônico. Desta forma, este artigo objetiva mostrar os recursos odontológicos, em especial da ortodontia, com o fim de proporcionar tratamentos mais estéticos.

Abstract: Aesthetics by definition is the study that determines the character of the beauty upon natural and artistic productions. The nature itself has already done its part, but we, dentists, can help improve the aesthetics of our patients. At each generation and decade, the concept of aesthetics becomes increasingly intrinsic to the human beings and to their expectations. Given the current process of globalization, the search for beauty, aesthetics and rejuvenation has been being sought by all. In dentistry this could not be different, because after all, the pleasantness of the face is linked to the smile. In this respect, orthodontics is one of the areas responsible for making the smile more pleasant and harmonious. Hence, this paper aims to show up the dental resources available to provide more aesthetic treatments, particularly those in the field of orthodontics.
