Adenoma Pleomórfico: Revisão de literatura e relato de caso em palato duro
Resumo
O adenoma pleomórfico (AP) é um tumor benigno que acomete as glândulas salivares, sendo composto de elementos epiteliais e mesenquimais. Em geral, ocorre principalmente nas glândulas parótida e sumandibular e infrequentemente nas glândulas salivares menores nas regiões de palato duro e mole, lábios superior e inferior e região retromolar. Este artigo tem por objetivo relatar um caso de AP em palato duro, com tempo de evolução de 05 anos, assim como, aspectos histopatológicos, suas características clínicas e possibilidades de tratamento.

Abstract
The pleomorphic adenoma (PA) is a benign tumor that affects the salivary glands, consisting of epithelial and esenchymal
elements. Generally occurs mainly in parotid glands and sumandibular and infrequently in the minor salivary glands in the regions of hard and soft palate, upper and lower lips and retromolar region. This article aims to report a case of PA in the hard palate, with an evolution of 05 years as well as histopathological features, clinical characteristics and treatment possibilities.
