Dilaceração Radicular

Resumo

A dilaceração é o termo utilizado na literatura, para relatar a curvatura suave ou acentuada no dente, sendo que o traumatismo mecânico pode ser uma das causas.

O diagnóstico precoce é sumamente importante pois possibilita o tratamento conservador do dente dilacerado, como vem sendo relatado, entre outros, no caso clínico que se encontra em http://www.cleber.com.br/roberto.html. O diagnóstico tardio, como apresentado neste caso, geralmente leva a exodontia. Os sinais clínicos observados no paciente e o histórico do caso levam a investigação, com exames complementares. É comum que inicialmente se peçam exames radiográficos e, constatado a dilaceração certamente será necessário um exame mais minucioso e, neste caso, a Tomografia Computadorizada de Feixe Cônico (TCFC) de Alta Resolução é o mais indicado.

Abstract
